Toothed resin-wheel matching for cleaner glass edges
When a double-edging line leaves heavy grinding lines, repeatedly changing general machine parameters may not solve the problem if the installed wheel combination is poorly matched. A non-grooved resin wheel followed by an unsuitable polishing wheel can leave visible marks and insufficient edge brightness.
The S620001 green toothed resin wheel uses internal grooves intended to retain more coolant and support debris evacuation during fine grinding. More consistent contact can help refine the marks left by the preceding rough-grinding stage and create a better base for the final polishing wheel.
In a matched process, replacing the resin and polishing stages can reduce visible edge lines and improve clarity without extensive machine adjustment. The final combination must still be selected from the glass material, thickness, current wheel sequence, feed, cooling and required edge finish.
